The perfect blend of fall colors in different photo sessions

It’s time to say goodbye summer and hello to Fall. Fall is the perfect time for photos the weather is cooler and the leaves are changing from green to those beautiful orange tones. Those tones of orange create a perfect Fall inspired photo sessions. Here are three different sessions that are all inspired by the changing season.

Newborn Session

Since most newborn sessions are done inside it can be a challenge to bring the beauty of Fall into the photo. Here are a few ways to still achieve that Fall inspired look but still keep it cute and simple.

1. Fall leaves (use fake ones so that it doesn’t cause any irritation on the baby’s skin)
2. Felt Pumpkins. These are small and squishy pumpkins that will help achieve that Fall look and still be safe for the baby.
3. Use Fall tones. Keep the Fall inspired photo sessions revolving around all those oranges, yellows, light browns to create a Fall color scheme. This is perfect for adding just a touch of Fall into the photo without any props.

Family Photo Session

I love everything about Fall family photos. Unlike newborn sessions Fall family photos are done outside. This makes it easier to convey that Fall look. Here are some tips for the family session.

1. Pick a location that has lots of trees! Show off that Fall foliage.
2. Wear Fall tones but don’t go overboard. Nice neutrals with pops of Fall colors will perfectly convey when the photo was taken.
3. Feel free to accessorize (beanie, flannel jacket, or a blanket to cozy up on!)
