Poses for newborns and siblings doesn’t have to be hard. Here are three posing ideas that are easy, safe and will create a precious memory.
Cozy Bed Newborn Pose
The bed is a perfect place to take newborn and sibling photos. It is a soft and comfy area for both the siblings and the newborn. There are many different poses that can be done in this one area. That’s the best part about it! Being able to maximize the number of poses with little movement.
Basket Newborn Pose
Poses for newborns and siblings photos doesn’t just have to be done on the bed. Photos can also be done with a basket. This will allow for easy movement and make sure the baby is a safe and contained area. Have the older sibling move around the basket to capture as many shots without having to move the baby. This setup is a perfect option for the younger siblings since it doesn’t require them to actually hold the baby.
Showing size difference
After all the photos are taken of the cuddles, kisses and snuggles it’s great to also get some of those detail shots. I love having the older siblings put their hands on their new brother/sister. This really just shows how small the baby is at this point in time.
In any pose that is done make sure the baby’s safety is always number one priority. Make sure to have a parent or someone close by that can help if needed. Still looking for a photographer to book? I would love to capture your newest little love.
