Four tips to having you feeling confident in the photos
Get in those photos
Are you nervous to have your photos taken? Are you worried about how you look after giving birth. Let me tell you this is a normal concern. Of course I never want to pressure a mom to be in the photos, but I like to give a gentle nudge. Give your baby the gift of having photos of their newborn session with you to look back on. Here are some simple newborn session tips for the moms.

Newborn Session Tips For The Moms
1. Tell your photographer about your concerns. It is my job to make you feel comfortable. It can be an awkward feeling to get your photos taken. This process should be a fun and memorable experience.
2. Dress in an outfit that you think you look beautiful in!! Look good, feel good. Looking for outfit tips? Check out this lasted blog post. Take this opportunity to pamper yourself. Get your hair and nails done.
3.This will be a beautiful moment between you and your new baby. Forget the camera is there. Interact, hug, kiss and snuggle your baby like you do every day. This will make for photos with pure emotion.
4. Even if you feel awkward or not ready for photos get in those images anyway. You are doing this for your baby to have memories to look back on. You spent 9 months creating this human and now it’s time to show off all the work you have done. People never regret the photos they do take. They regret the ones they never took. GET IN THOSE PHOTOS. Your babies will thank you later.

[…] Babies love to be warm, cozy and sleepy! But really who doesn’t like to be cozy? During your in-home newborn session everyone will get a little toasty. It is best to keep the environment warm so your baby will stay nice and comfortable. Keep this in mind when getting dressed, especially if you plan on being in the images. Talk to your photographer. Ask if the family photos or the solo newborn photos will be taken first. If the family photos will be taken second, then it might be best to change into your outfit just before it’s time for the photos. Looking for more session tip?
