These two poses will be the ones you love to look back on when your baby is all grown.
Every pose of your baby is going to be perfect and sweet but there are two must-have newborn poses that you need to include in your session. These are the photographs that you will print for your house and put in that baby book.
#1 Must-Have Newborn Pose: Family
Family shots are the #1 pose to include in every session. Yes, this might seem like the most simple idea but not every family wants to be in photos. There are a million reasons for not being in the photos but the most important is to give that little baby memories of you to look back on. There are a few ways to accomplish this without having to feel too exposed to the camera.
Place your hands on your baby. This is a beautiful shot that can portray so much love.
Take some photos in your baby’s nursery. The chances are this room will evolve so much as he/she grows and this memory to look back on will mean so much.
Sibling photos! Not all kids love photos but do what you can to make it a fun experience. Sometimes music or a present after the session will help to motivate kids.
#2 Must-Have Newborn Pose: Details
During this newborn stage is the only time it’s cute to have photos of feet and hands. Take this opportunity to capture all those little details. It will be crazy to see how much your baby grows in just a few weeks after the session. After a few years have gone by you will be amazed by these detail photos of how small your baby use to be.
Still looking to book newborn photographer? I would love to capture this special moment.
