Your baby’s first year photography sessions are so important. During your baby’s first year of life he/she will go through many changes. From the moment he/she enters this world they are constantly growing, changing and evolving. In a blink of an eye that little baby that you brought into this world is now a toddler. Here are some perfect times (from a photographers point-of-view) to capture the most important milestone photography sessions in your baby’s life.

Newborn Photography Session

There is nothing more precious than a brand new baby. Their tiny delicate features are worth preserving with some professional photographs. Those little hands, feet and bodies won’t be that small forever. The best time for newborn photos is under two weeks old. If you are looking to book, start your research early to find a photographer that you like.

Sitter Photography Session

Woohoo you made it past the newborn stage. Your little on is now sitting up and starting to get curious about the world around him/her. Sitter sessions are best done around 6-9 months. These photos will be so special to compare to the newborn photos that were taken months ago.

One Year Photography Session

You’ve made it to a year! Wow, time flies. This milestone definitely needs to be celebrated. There are so many options when it comes to a one year session. My favorite is picking a dessert your little one likes and just letting him/her devour it. The excitement will be so beautiful to capture during the photography session.

Family Photography Session

Capturing your beautiful new baby is so important you can’t forget to get in those photos! Family sessions are so important for your kids. Give them some beautiful memories of you to look back on. I know getting in front of a camera can be uncomfortable but leave that to your photographer to ease your worries.
